This year I´m not gonna smell summer holidays :S but I´m lucky enougth to work and be able to scape on the weekens to any of the cute and gorgeous cities around England ;)
So that´s what my English and I did las weekend: a deserved scape to Bath, a beautiful and elegant town very close to London. Its streets are so clean and full of history. The Georgian style surrounds every corner and takes you very back in time. It is pretty cute walking by the Avon River and see the Pulteney Bridge. Visiting the Roman Baths is just such an experience and The Royal Crescent and The Circus is just a gift for your eyes. Please, you have to visit the Nº1 Royal Crescent, a real Georgian House where you will find out the secrets about wealthy people indoor´s life on the 18th Century ;)
Perfect trip for a little and romantic break :) and I hardly recommend you the Francis Hotel Queen Sq.

Me da a mi que este año me quedo sin vacaciones de verano, pero no me importa ya que puedo darme escapadillas de fin de semana a una de las muchas ciudades que tenemos en Inglaterra ;)
Y eso es lo que hicimos el fin de semana pasada mi Inglés y yo, largarnos el fin de semana a Bath :)
Bath es una ciudad en la que el estilo Georgiano inpregna cada esquina, cada edificio. Es elegantísima y te topas con historia a cada paso que das. Una maravillosa opción es caminar por las orillas del rio Avon hasta el Puente de Pulteney y de ahí subir hasta la Abadía y los Baños Romanos. Pasear hasta The Royal Crescent y The Circus es un regalo para la vista, y no podéis dejar de visitar el Nº1 de Royal Crescent, una auténtica casa estilo Georgiano donde descubriréis los secretos de la nobleza del S.XVIII. Tenéis que desayunar en uno de sus muchos y bucólicos Tea Shops y por supuesto, tomar el Afternoon Tea ;)
Bath es una opción perfecta para un romántico y tranquilo fin de semana. Nosotros nos quedamos en el Francis Hotel , un precioso edificio del S.XVIII que no puedo dejar de recomendaros por la maravillosa decoración, la calidad de las instalaciones y el buen trato del personal.
