I DIDN´T WANT A TV BUT...

Hace años que me negué a tener televisión en casa; nunca tengo tiempo de verla ni tampoco me interesa mucho (sólo veo "Sex and the City" o a la Kapranova), siempre me ha parecido dinero tirado a la basura o algo por el estilo. Pero a mi Inglés le encanta la tele, le hace "compañía" y como aún no tenemos internet en la nueva casa para poder solventar el problema, ayer, al más puro estilo "parejil" nos hicimos la ruta por todos los polígonos de maxitiendas y centros comerciales que tanto me han espantado siempre (y aún lo hacen). Y además de la manera más rupestre, atravesando autovías a pie, caminando kilómetros... en fin, una odisea pero al final encontramos LA TELE. Mi única condición era que fuera pequeñita o que por lo menos no se convirtiera en la reina del living room (ya hay reinona en casa); y la verdad es que encontramos una que me encantó, de 23 pulgadas, súper plana, delgada y estilizada ;) y a casa la trajimos. Y con el Festival de Eurovisión se estrenó nuestra telecita, que lo cierto es que da un aire bastante hogareño a la casa, que hasta que nos traigan nuestras cositas y cachivaches de Londres, está un poquitín desangelada, aunque ya le estamos dando nuestro toque ;)

I never wanted a TV, I don´t have time to watch it and I always had the feeling that it was like throwing away your money. But in our new house which is still quite empty and even we don´t have internet yet, a TV was something missed (specially for my English :)
That´s why yesterday we did something very couply: we spent the Saturday in a massive shopping area trying to find the perfect TV. And after walking for ages and even crossing motorways by walking (oh my god), we found the thinnest, flatter and the most elongated one ;)
And the Eurovision Concert  was the first thing we watched on it (what would it mean??? ;)
I have to say that our new little TV is making the house more warmy, at least ´till we get our cute things which are coming from London.
