LENNIES SNACK BAR

There are days like today when the weather is that gorgeous that we should enjoy it for a bit. One of the cool things to do in a sunny day in London is walking around and have an English Breakfast!!! I love doing it sometimes (not very often as is not super healthy but sometimes is ok ;) I f you decide to go to Shoreditch, you can let yourself enjoy an authentic English Breakfast at Lennies Snack Bar at the 6 Calvert Avenue. The lady who works there cooks your breakfast with a lot of care and makes you feel so at home :) and the prices are very very good ;) The place is very cosy and the times I´ve been there is been very quiet which I love as I don´t like busy places at all (I go random mornings on weekdays).

Ok, if you are lucky to have a morning off and want to walk around Shoreditch and have a nice breakfast, go to Lennies Snack Bar and let me know how it was ;)

Un día como el que hoy tenemos en Londres (soleado y más de 20 grados :) se merece un buen paseo por uno de sus muchos maravillosos barrios y un aunténtico English Breakfast ;)

Yo os recomiendo un buen paseo por Shoreditch y un delicioso desayuno en Lennies Snack Bar en el nº6 de Calvert Avenue. Me encanta cogerme un ratito en la mañana e ir a tomarme un buen desayuno Inglés (no muy a menudo porque no es lo más sano del mundo la verdad, pero de vez en cuando está permitido ;) Lennies Snack Bar es un sitio muy entrañanble donde la señora que lo lleva prepara la comida ella misma y te hace sentir como si estuvieras en tu casa :) Es muy acogedor y lo que me gusta es que las veces que he ido (alguna mañana durante la semana) ha estado bastante tranquilo (los sitios con mucha gente no me atraen mucho).

Si tienes un rato libre y ganas de disfrutar de un barrio maravilloso como Shoreditch y un auténtico English Breakfast a un precio alucinante, pásate por Lennies Snack Bar y cuéntame qué te ha parecido ;)

I love DAYS OFF!! in s&m Spitalfields

Me encanta tener el día off. Me encanta levantarme un poco más tarde, una ducha e irme con "mi Inglés" ;) a tomar un clásico desayuno inglés a S&M Café, a cinco minutos de casa y a sólo dos minutos de Liverpool Street Station.
Increibles sus desayunos, sobre todo The Great British All Day Breakfast (London traditional sausage, bacon, free range egg, Heinz baked beans, mushrooms, black pudding, bubble & squeak, grilled tomatoes, with toast), acompañado de un buen cafe latte.
El ambiente y el personal, son de primera; como la decoración, que hace que el cafe sea súper acogedor y entrañable (adoro el detalle de que todas las mesas están cubiertas por hules de plástico de cuadrito vichy, que me recuerda a los hules que cubrían las mesas en la casa de mi abuela :)
Además el precio no es nada alto teniendo en cuenta la calidad de la comida.
Despues del desayuno o brunch os recomiendo bajar por Bishopsgate hasta el rio (son 10 minutos) y dar un buen paseo por el Támesis o como hicimos nosotros ayer, a curiosear a un museo, todo ello acompañado de muhos abrazos y amor... ay, qué buen día off tuve ayer :) (esto fue escrito el viernes dia 10 pues estuve off el jueves 9)

I love having the day off. I love getting up a little bit later, having a shower and going with "my English" ;) to make a classic English breakfast in s&m Café (2 minutes from Liverpool St Station)

Unbelievable its breakfasts, especially The Great British All Day Breakfast (London traditional sausage, bacon, free range egg, Heinz baked beans, mushrooms, black pudding, bubble & squeak, grilled tomatoes, toast with), with a delicious latte.

The atmosphere and staff are amazing, same as the decoration, which makes the cafe super friendly and charming (I love the detail that all the tables are covered with checkered oilcloth, wich remind me the oilcloth that covered the tables in my grandmother´s house :)

And the price is quite good as the food is delicious!!

After the breakfast or brunch, I recomend you a beautiful walk taking Bishopsgate down the Thames or as we did today, nose around in a museum ;) all of that, of course, with a lot a cuddlies and LOVE... (that´s what we did ;)
